Dealing Pot Remains a Crime in New Jersey

Drug Distribution is the act of delivery/passing of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (a CDS) to another person. It does not matter whether you think it should be legal; whether another State says it is legal; whether you are a florist; or, whether you receive money for distributing the drugs – it is still drug distribution if the law of the State you are in (or the Federal statute) says it is illegal to possess or distribute the drug. Although it’s only pot you say! Fact is, dealing pot remains a no-no and can get you in hot water that can be costly in more ways than one.

If you or someone you know has been arrested for dealing pot, contact an experienced attorney as soon as possible and do not offer the police or prosecutor’s office any additional information, even if you believe it may help you. Believe me, the prosecutor’s office is looking to button up their case against you and anything you say will be used against you. Hire an attorney or call me for a free consult on the case merits of your charge.
